This Refund Policy applies to purchases and deposits made with Airstream of Edmonton (“we,” “us,” “our”), an AMVIC-licensed dealer in Alberta.

1) No cooling-off period

In Alberta, there is generally no cooling-off period for vehicle purchases. Once a Bill of Sale or lease/purchase contract is signed, you are agreeing to buy/lease the unit (travel trailer or touring coach). Please review all terms carefully before signing.

2) Deposits and down payments

Deposits may be used to reserve a unit or confirm a transaction. We do not require a deposit to view a unit or negotiate. Deposits are only accepted with a written agreement, and that agreement will clearly state whether the deposit is refundable or non-refundable and the conditions that apply. Always get your deposit terms in writing and keep your receipt.
Refundable deposits: If your deposit is marked refundable in writing, it will be refunded according to the conditions in your deposit agreement.
Non-refundable deposits: If your deposit is marked non-refundable in writing, it will not be refunded if you change your mind, choose not to proceed, or decide to purchase elsewhere, provided we are able to complete the transaction as agreed in writing.

3) Internet or remote sales

For certain internet/remote transactions, Alberta rules may allow cancellation only in specific circumstances, such as where the unit is not as represented or required disclosures/delivery requirements were not met. If those circumstances apply, amounts paid may be refundable as required by law.

4) Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. If not possible, we may issue a refund by cheque or another method. Processing times vary by payment provider and bank.

5) Add-ons, accessories, parts, and services

Unless otherwise required by law or stated in writing, installed accessories, parts, or services already performed (including items ordered specifically for your unit or work completed at your request) are generally non-refundable once installed or completed. Unopened, unused merchandise may be eligible for exchange or store credit within 7 days with the original receipt and in resalable condition. Special order items may be non-returnable.

6) Delivery, registration, and paperwork

If a unit has been delivered, registered, plated, or if ownership has been transferred, refunds are generally not available except where required by law or explicitly stated in writing.

7) Pricing transparency

If we advertise a specific unit price, Alberta all-in pricing rules apply. The advertised price must include all fees and charges we intend to charge, with GST and financing costs (if applicable) as key exceptions.
