Airstream World Traveler (22 ft)

Airstream’s World Traveler is coming to Canada. Our first 22 ft single-axle unit is on order, and interest is already high. While Canadian specifications are still being finalized, the European brochure gives us a good look at the design direction: compact, aerodynamic, and cleverly packaged for real travel living.

What we can share today

  • 22 ft, single-axle layout built for maneuverability and easy parking, shown in the EU brochure as the lightest trailer in its class.

  • Designed to be towable by mid-size SUVs in EU markets; we’ll confirm Canada-specific tow guidance once NA specs are published.

  • Low-profile climate system positioned inside the cabin (not on the roof) for a cleaner look and better aerodynamics, paired with a Truma Combi for heat and hot water.

  • Flexible front living that converts from dinette to lounge to sleeping.

  • V-style twin bed concept with generous combined sleep surface and easy center access; under-bed storage shown.

  • Separate bathroom with shower, as depicted in the EU materials.

  • 12V refrigerator in the EU spec, with an optional beverage drawer near the entry noted.

  • Scandinavian-inspired interior palettes (Sagebrush and Shoreline) with calm, natural tones.

Note: The EU brochure lists an overall length around 7.2 m and width of 2.3 m; Canadian dimensional and weight ratings will be confirmed by Airstream before launch.

Airstream - World Traveler Interior

Why it matters

Airstream has positioned World Traveler in a sweet spot: more room than a 16 ft Bambi, still single-axle and easy to live with. For shoppers who’ve wished for “just a bit more” space without moving to a dual-axle footprint, this model could be the answer.

Expected pricing position

We expect pricing to compete with 16 ft Bambi, subject to official Canadian announcements. If you’ve been Bambi-curious but want a larger floorplan.

What might change for Canada

EU brochures show 230V electrical systems and international-market components. Canada usually differs in:

  • 120V/60 Hz power and NA appliance specs

  • Different tank sizes and capacities

  • Hitch, connectors, and safety labels aligned to Canadian standards

  • Option availability and trim names

We’ll publish full Canada-spec details, towing guidance, and pricing the moment Airstream releases them.
